Peter Foesters (1968, Belgium) currently lives and works in Tongeren. Graduated from Genk art school, in 1992, Peter Foesters started his career in the mid-nineties painting objects in combination with gesso and has been always fascinated by the combination of sculpting and painting.
With references such as Klein, Hockney, Pollock, Basquiat and Rothko, Peter Foesters uses bright ”fluo” colours combined with black. By using straight lines the artist tries to bring depth and into the work, an idea of extra dimensions.
